In recent years, Kyushu University has established a close partnership with Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China and Pusan National University in South Korea, under its “Asia-oriented strategy.” The discipline concerned in this project is science and technology related with interlocking energy and environmental issues, namely Energy and Environmental Science and Technology (EEST).
